Education is key to making a difference.
Health Care delivery is not a "one size fits all." We must listen to the preferences of those we serve especially the patients/clients who are representative of ethnic and racial minority groups.
These groups have a long-standing history of feeling "lesser than" and" not worth very much" within our society.
It is important that health care professionals focus on cultural appropriateness in health care delivery.
